Want to find a book that Briggs Library doesn't have in its collection? Maybe it can be borrowed from another library in Michigan. You can look it up in MeLCat, the Michigan eLibrary catalog and resource sharing system. If you find a title you would like to borrow, just click on "Get this for me". On the next screen you select Briggs Public Library as the library card you want to use. On the next screen you will enter your name and the barcode from the back of your Library Card, including the P at the beginning of the number. Now Available online, the Encyclopaedia Britannica.  This includes access to the entire encyclopedia and the Merriam-Webster Dictionary & Thesaurus.  It also includes access to Britannica Kids which is a great resource for information and instruction. COLUMBIA GAZETTEER OF THE WORLD

It includes RSS feeds for places in the news, as well as for the over 170,000 entries on all types of places throughout the world.
