LIBRARY INFORMATIONOUR MISSION: The mission of the Briggs Public Library of St. Johns is to actively provide easily accessible services, materials and programs to people of all ages in our service area to meet their evolving recreational, cultural, informational and educational needs. HOURS: The hours of service for the Briggs Public Library are: Monday 9:30 am – 8:00 pm New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presdients Day, Saturday of Easter Weekend, Saturday before Memorial Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Saturday of Mint Festival, Saturday before Labor Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve. On Good Friday, the library closes at 1:00 p.m. and the day before Thanksgiving, the library closes at 5:00 p.m. HOW TO GET HERE: The Library is located in downtown St. Johns, three blocks north of the Clinton County Courthouse on Railroad Street. For a map, click here: MICHICARD PROGRAM: The Briggs Public Library participates in the MichiCard Statewide Library Card Program. The MichiCard allows use of the Briggs Public Library card at all participating MichiCard libraries across the state, subject to the local rules governing each participating library. We honor MichiCards from other libraries, with proper identification. NON-RESIDENT USER CARD: Individuals who are ineligible to receive a library card, or who do not have access to a Michicard library, may obtain a User Card for an annual fee of $30.00 per person. Mikula, President Mike Madden, Treasurer Mark Bates, St. Johns City Liaison The Board of Trustees of the Briggs Public Library will meet on February 11, April 08, June 10, August 12, October 14, and December 09 in 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room at the Library.
